Vintage Modern 1970's Art Glass Glow Ball Chrome Floor Lamp attributed to Robert Sonneman. This is one Amazing Lamp from the Mid Century Period. Very high quality made. Has chrome dimmer which smoothly flows from off to bright. It is unique as it doesn't click to certain brightness and offers the user total control. That is the least of how wonderful this lamp is. It is in OUTSTANDING WORKING and COSMETIC CONDITION for it's age. The polished metal chrome looks beautiful with no dings or rust. The LARGE Glass ball is in Perfect Condition all the way through. No chips, not a single flaw to note. It has a bubble inclusions all the way around and looks fantastic with the light on or off. The lamp has a porcelain socket which is also unscathed after all these years. It very nicely sized at approx. 39 1/4" total height. The globe alone measures approx. 14"w x 12 1/2"h. The chrome base alone without bulb measures approx. 30"h x 9 1/4" in diameter at the base.
